The Grand Slam of Curling is running back to Saskatoon for the HearingLife Canadian Open, Dec. 16-21, at Merlis Belsher Place.
The event will mark the third time the venue has hosted a Grand Slam of Curling event, following the 2019 Champions Cup and 2023 Masters.

The HearingLife Canadian Open, featuring the top men’s and women’s teams from around the world, is one of the original four events in the series.
New for the 2025-26 season is a Tier 2 division, providing up to 32 additional teams the opportunity to sharpen their skills and earn points as they work towards reaching the next level of success in the sport. The Tier 2 will take place at the Martensville Curling Club in Martensville, Sask., with the finals played alongside the Tier 1 finals at Merlis Belsher Place.

Last season’s Canadian Open took place in Nisku, Alberta. Team Mouat and Team Homan returned as the defending champions and both successfully retained their titles. Mouat defeated Team Gushue 6-2 in the men’s final while Homan topped Team Tirinzoni 7-5 on the women’s side.
