July 1 signals the start of free agency in the NHL, but it's also the end of free agency in curling as we've reached the deadline for teams to register for next season.

While some teams have decided to stick together, others have opted for extreme makeovers as we begin a new Olympic cycle on the road to the French Alps 2030.

Here's a roundup of the top curling team changes for 2026-27.

Men's Division

Team Asselin

Lineup: Félix Asselin, Julien Tremblay, Jesse Mullen, Jean-Michel Arsenault

Asselin returns to skipping with a new lineup after Jean-Michel Ménard announced his retirement.

Team Bottcher

Lineup: Brendan Bottcher, Jake Horgan, Tanner Horgan, Geoff Walker

Meet the new Team Bottcher, based in Alberta. Bottcher and Walker are sticking together after their tenure on Team Gushue and have added the Horgan brothers, formerly with Team Epping.

Team Bryce

Lineup: Cameron Bryce, Karsten Sturmay, Kerr Drummond, Scott Hyslop, Robin McCall

Bryce announced Duncan Menzies is stepping back, with Sturmay and Drummond joining as they become a Canada-Scotland team.

Team Cotter

Lineup: Jim Cotter, Jared Kolomaya, Connor Deane, Erik Colwell, Brad Wood

Welcome back, Cotter. Oh come on, we had to use that line here.

Team Dunstone

Lineup: Matt Dunstone, Colton Lott, Mark Nichols, Ryan Harnden

With E.J. Harnden stepping back, Dunstone added six-time Brier champ Nichols.

Team Epping

Lineup: John Epping, B.J. Neufeld, Ryan Wiebe, Ian McMillan

Epping will play out of Manitoba next season.

Team Eriksson

Lineup: Rasmus Wranå, Oskar Eriksson (skip), Christoffer Sundgren, Simon Olofsson

Niklas Edin's team is staying together, with former alternate Simon Olofsson joining full-time. Oskar Eriksson will skip, although they have hinted the throwing order may change.

Team Grattan

Lineup: James Grattan, Jonathan Beuk, Andy McCann, Noah Riggs

Beuk has rejoined Grattan at third after Joel Kratts moved on.

Team Hardie

Lineup: Ross Whyte, Grant Hardie (skip), Craig Waddell, Euan Kyle

Hardie moves on from Team Mouat and will now throw third and skip with Whyte's crew.

Team Howard

Lineup: Scott Howard, David Mathers, Pat Janssen, Scott Chadwick

Howard has added Mathers and Janssen after parting ways with Mat and Jason Camm.

Team Kapp

Lineup: Benjamin Kapp, Felix Messenzehl, Johannes Scheuerl, Mario Trevisiol

With Marc Muskatewitz stepping back, Kapp has moved up to skip the German national team.

Team Kean

Lineup: Mark Kean, Ryan Abraham, Nathan Gray, Luke Saunders

Former Ontario champ Kean has formed a new team based out of Nova Scotia.

Team Koe

Lineup: Kevin Koe, Johnson Tao, Aaron Sluchinski, Karrick Martin

Koe has welcomed Johnson Tao to the lineup after Tyler Tardi left to skip a new squad.

Team McEwen

Lineup: Mike McEwen, Rylan Kleiter, Joshua Mattern, Trevor Johnson

McEwen is staying in Saskatchewan, linking up with Kleiter's crew.

Team Mooibroek

Lineup: Sam Mooibroek, Owen Purcell, Scott Mitchell, Gavin Lydiate

Nova Scotia skip Purcell has joined the Ontario group at third. Lydiate served as Mooibroek's alternate at the 2025 Montana's Brier.

Team Mouat

Lineup: Bruce Mouat, Robin Brydone, Bobby Lammie, Hammy McMillan Jr.

With Grant Hardie moving on, Robin Brydone has shifted over from Team Whyte.

Team Ramsfjell

Lineup: Magnus Ramsfjell, Martin Sesaker, Bendik Ramsfjell, Steffen Walstad, Mathias Braenden

Team Ramsfjell will have a revamped look as a five-man roster, adding Walstad and Braenden after Gaute Nepstad stepped back.

Team Retornaz

Lineup: Joël Retornaz, Stefano Gilli, Andrea Gilli, Alberto Pimpini

With his old team splintering off, Joël Retornaz has an all-new lineup for next season.

Team K. Schwaller

Lineup: Kim Schwaller, Jan Iseli, Andreas Gerlach, Max Winz

Yep, another Team Schwaller. This one is skipped by Yannick's younger brother, Kim.

Team Shuster

Lineup: John Shuster, Andrew Stopera, Mark Fenner, Lance Wheeler

USA Curling announced its national program teams, with Shuster sporting a new lineup, linking up with the "Young Bucks."

Team Spiller

Lineup: Stefano Spiller, Amos Mosaner, Sebastiano Arman, Cesare Spiller

The Spillers have joined forces with Mosaner and Arman, formerly with Team Retornaz.

Team Tardi

Lineup: Tyler Tardi, Colton Flasch, Kevin Marsh, Dan Marsh

Tardi has returned to skip, joining forces with Mike McEwen's former teammates.

After skipping Newfoundland and Labrador at the Montana's Brier, Young has found a new team in Ontario.

Women's Division

Team Ackerman

Lineup: Skylar Ackerman, Robyn Silvernagle, Rachel Big Eagle, Mary Little

Ackerman, who skipped Saskatchewan at the 2024 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, is back and taking a break to focus on her education.

Team Birt

Lineup: Suzanne Birt, Michelle Shea, Meaghan Hughes, Sinead Dolan

The 13-time P.E.I. champ Birt has returned after taking a multi-year break from competitive curling.

Team Black

Lineup: Christina Black, Jill Brothers, Marlee Powers, Lindsey Burgess, Karlee Everist

From five to four to five again. After announcing Jenn Baxter had stepped back, Black added free agent Lindsey Burgess, with Karlee Everist moving to alternate.

Team Brunton

Lineup: Kira Brunton, Kendra Lilly, Jamie Smith, Lauren Rajala

Brunton will now skip out of Northern Ontario after Team Inglis split up.

Team Cameron

Lineup: Kate Cameron, Laurie St-Georges, Emily Riley, Emilia Gagne

Manitoba-based skip Cameron will guide a new lineup out of Quebec, as St-Georges has moved to third.

Team Constantini

Lineup: Stefania Constantini, Lucrezia Grande, Angela Romei, Allegra Grande

After her former team split, Constantini has set a new roster for next season.

Team Daniels

Lineup: Sarah Daniels, Abby Ackland, Calissa Daly, Dayna Demmans

Previously with Quebec's Team St-Georges, Daniels has returned to skipping out of her home province of B.C.

Team Einarson

Lineup: Kerri Einarson, Shannon Birchard, Karlee Burgess, Jocelyn Peterman

Days after earning silver at the women's worlds, Einarson parted ways with third Val Sweeting, alternate Krysten Karwacki and coach Reid Carruthers. Einarson added Peterman, who will throw lead and handle vice skip duties.

Team Fujisawa

Lineup: Satsuki Fujisawa, Yako Matsuzawa, Yumi Suzuki, Yurika Yoshida

Matsuzawa, who served as the team's alternate during the national championships, is sticking around full-time.

Team Gray-Withers

Lineup: Serena Gray-Withers, Catherine Clifford, Laura Walker, Zoe Cinnamon

Laura Walker has returned to women's curling after focusing on mixed doubles.

Team Ha

Lineup: Seung-youn Ha, Hye-rin Kim, Cho-hi Kim, Seon-yeong Kim

Meet the new Team Ha. Seung-youn Ha and Hye-rin Kim joined forces with Cho-hi Kim and Seon-yeong Kim, formerly with Eun-jung Kim's team.

Team Henderson

Lineup: Fay Henderson, Lisa Davie, Laura Watt, Katie McMillan, Sophie Sinclair

After Hailey Duff stepped back, the team added Sinclair as a fifth player.

Team Hürlimann

Lineup: Corrie Hürlimann, Marina Loertscher, Isabelle Einspieler, Celine Schwizgebel

Einspieler joined the team after Stefanie Berset left for Team Pätz.

Team Inglis

Lineup: Danielle Inglis, Jo-Ann Rizzo, Geri-Lynn Ramsay, Joanne Tarvit

Two-time Ontario champ Inglis has a revamped roster.

Team Kang

Lineup: Bo-bae Kang, Kyeong-ae Kim, Yu-jeong Shim, Min-seo Kim, Ji-soo Kim

With Eun-jung Kim's team splitting up, third Kyeong-ae Kim latched on with two-time world junior champ Kang.

Team Kim

Lineup: Eun-jung Kim, Suh-yeon Kim, Han-byul Park, Yu-jin Bang, Hae-jeong Kim

The new Garlic Girls? Eun-jung Kim formed a new team back in her hometown of Uiseong.

Team Kobayashi

Lineup: Mina Kobayashi, Kaho Onodera, Yuna Kotani, Anna Ohmiya

Kobayashi is moving up from alternate to skip after Sayaka Yoshimura announced her retirement.

Team Lloyd

Lineup: Grace Lloyd, Evelyn Robert, Michaela Robert, Rachel Steele

The team moved on from skip Hailey Armstrong after representing Ontario at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts. Lloyd will now skip with Evelyn Robert joining at third.

Team MacMillan

Lineup: Kayla MacMillan, Val Sweeting, Lindsay Dubue, Lauren Lenentine

Val Sweeting joined after eight seasons with Kerri Einarson's team.

Selena Njegovan has formed a new Winnipeg-based team. Pincott is moving from B.C. to Manitoba, while Flemming will be the team's import.

USA Curling announced its national program teams, with former Team Strouse third Anne O'Hara moving up to skip.

You-been Park joined the Chuncheon City Hall team, previously skipped by Seung-youn Ha.

Team Pätz

Pätz will return to skipping following Silvana Tirinzoni's retirement.

Team Skrlik

Lineup: Kayla Skrlik, Myla Plett, Sarah Koltun, Samantha Fisher

Skrlik has a new roster for next season, adding two-time Canadian junior champ Plett plus Koltun and Fisher from Corryn Brown's team.

Team Stevens

Rebecca Regan has joined the reigning Nova Scotia champions as Alison Umlah recovers from a shoulder injury.

Team Wranå

Lineup: Isabella Wranå, Almida de Val, Maria Larsson, Moa Dryburgh, Linda Stenlund

The team welcomed former alternate Dryburgh as a full-time member. Stenlund has shifted to a fifth/alternate role.

Team Zardini Lacedelli

Lineup: Giulia Zardini Lacedelli, Elena Mathis, Marta Lo Deserto, Rachele Scalesse

Giulia Zardini Lacedelli will turn to skipping next season, sticking with Mathis and Lo Deserto from Team Constantini.
