Switzerland’s Alina Pätz will be calling the shots again next season.
Pätz announced her new lineup Friday on social media, featuring third Selina Witschonke, second Stefanie Berset and lead Renee Frigo.
It's a return to the role for Pätz, who captured gold at the World Women’s Curling Championship as a skip in 2015.
She linked up with Silvana Tirinzoni in 2018, throwing last rocks and handling vice skip duties, to form a formidable back-end pairing.
Team Tirinzoni won four consecutive gold medals at the women's worlds from 2019 to 2023.
They also captured six Grand Slam of Curling titles and became the first team in either division to win three straight at the prestigious Players’ Championship.
Team Tirinzoni represented Switzerland at the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milano Cortina and earned silver.
Tirinzoni, who finished the season ranked No. 1 in the world, announced her retirement from women’s curling last month.
The 36-year-old Pätz also serves as captain of Rock League's Alpine Curling Club and reached the semifinals during the debut season this year.
Witschonke joined Team Tirinzoni in 2023. Berset played with skip Corrie Hürlimann last season and also served as Tirinzoni's alternate at international events. Frigo represented Switzerland this year at the World Junior Curling Championships.
