The birthplace of curling is going to be covered like never before, thanks in large part to an inaugural partnership between Scottish Curling and The Curling Group.

In the wake of Monday's granite-shifting Rock Channel announcement, Scottish Curling and The Curling Group have just announced an exclusive content-sharing partnership to a wider, global audience, including the 2026 Scottish Curling Championships set for Feb. 24–28.

The partnership agreement includes but is not limited to video, audio and written coverage, highlights from Scottish Championships, athlete and community profiles spotlighting stories from Scotland and the wider United Kingdom.

“Our goal is to make Rock Channel the new go-to destination for curling fans, offering worldwide access to the sport they love — anytime, anywhere,” said Nic Sulsky, Co-Founder and CEO of The Curling Group.

“As we grow the game and prepare for the launch of Rock League, we’re focused on building Rock Channel into a global hub for the sport, bringing together live competitions, premium original programming, and timeless matchups all in one place.”

Scottish Curling has been a leading governing body in the curling landscape as it tries to find new and dynamic ways to showcase curlers in the country.

It helps that Scotland is in the midst of overwhelming success, with Team Mouat winning two world championships in three years, as well as Bruce Mouat and Jenn Dodds coming off a silver medal at the most recent mixed doubles world curling championships.

Last season, Mouat was dominant throughout the Grand Slam of Curling season, making history by becoming the first-ever rink to win four Slams in one season – Team Mouat has captured 10 Slam titles overall.

Scottish skip Ross Whyte had a breakthrough season as well by capturing his first Slam title in his career.

Great Britain has qualified teams in all three disciplines at the upcoming Olympics.

“We've got a pivotal season for the game coming up, as eyes will be on Olympics and the new Rock League, but closer to home for us it will be the domestic National Championships and the stories and personalities around these great events - all told in our unique Scottish style,” said Vincent Bryson, Scottish Curling CEO.

“It’s a real privilege for Scottish Curling to be partnering with TCG on sharing the news and achievements of these great athletes within the UK and beyond.”

Earlier Monday, The Curling Group announced the launch of Rock Channel, a new streaming platform offering free, global access to live and archived Grand Slam of Curling (GSOC) coverage, plus exclusive original programming, features, and more.

In addition to original content — including GSOC, the soon-to-be-launched Rock League, the Broom Brothers show and the electric Grand Slam of Karaoke — Rock Channel will also serve as a global platform for curling federations and rights holders.

Scottish Curling is the first federation of what’s expected to be many teaming up with TCG.

“We've all got a role to play in celebrating the game worldwide - it's going to be great fun working across the globe to make this happen with TCG," Bryson said.
