Xenia Schwaller and her Swiss squad are going "Schwall-in" for the next four years.
The Zurich-based club announced Friday on social media that they are staying together for the next quadrennial as they look ahead to the 2030 Winter Olympics in the French Alps.
"With renewed motivation and a shared vision, the team is ready to take the next step and continue building toward 2030," the team said in the post.
It's been a meteoric rise for Schwaller, third Selina Gafner, second Fabienne Rieder and lead Selina Rychiger after capturing gold at the World Junior Curling Championships in 2024. Schwaller made her Grand Slam of Curling series debut just two months later at the season-ending Players' Championship.
The team qualified for the playoffs in a Grand Slam for the first time at the AMJ Masters in the fall and continued the upward trend by reaching the semifinals at the CO-OP Tour Challenge and KIOTI GSOC Tahoe events.
Ranked No. 4 in the world, Schwaller has won three titles on tour this season, claiming the Oslo Cup, AMJ Shorty Jenkins Classic and Take-Out Trophy.
