Two-time Olympian Jocelyn Peterman has linked up with skip Kerri Einarson for next season.
The Gimli, Man., club announced its retooled lineup on Monday, with Peterman joining at lead and handling vice skip duties.
Shannon Birchard is moving over one spot to third, and former lead Karlee Burgess will now throw second stones.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Jocelyn to the team,” Einarson said in a team release. “She’s an incredible player with a ton of experience, and we can’t wait to hit the ice with her next season.”

Peterman, who lives in Chestermere, Alta., was a standout skip in juniors but has mostly played at second during her women’s career. She won the 2016 Scotties Tournament of Hearts and the 2018 Canadian Open with skip Chelsea Carey.
She joined legendary skip Jennifer Jones for the following cycle and represented Canada with the team at the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing.
Peterman played on Kaitlyn Lawes’s team during this quadrennial and returned to the Winter Olympic Games, this time in mixed doubles with her husband, Brett Gallant. The pair just missed the playoffs in Milano Cortina, finishing fifth with a 4-5 record.
Laura Walker filled in for Peterman during the Scotties Tournament of Hearts as Team Lawes finished runner-up to Team Einarson in Mississauga, Ont.
The rink disbanded last week, with Lawes and lead Kristin Gordon planning to step back for one season. Third Selena Njegovan, who took on skip duties beginning last year, is also searching for a new team.
“I’m really excited to team up with such a hardworking, talented group of women,” Peterman added in the release. “I can’t wait to get on the ice, learn from each other, and see what we can build together.”
Einarson captured her fifth Scotties title in February and earned silver at the World Women’s Curling Championship just over a week ago in Calgary. She parted ways with longtime third Val Sweeting, alternate Krysten Karwacki and coach Reid Carruthers last week.
Peterman and Burgess will get a head start as teammates when they play together on Maple United next week during the inaugural season of Rock League. Einarson will also compete with Shield Curling Club when the series hits the ice, April 6-12 at TMU Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto.
