The Crown Royal Players' Championship begins Tuesday at the Southeast Event Centre in Steinbach, Man.
The fifth and final Grand Slam of Curling event of the season features 12 of the top men's teams and 12 of the top women's teams from around the world.

TEAM EINARSON
Lineup: Kerri Einarson, Val Sweeting, Shannon Birchard, Karlee Burgess (Gimli, MB)
Einarson has captured six Grand Slam of Curling women's titles, including two at the Crown Royal Players' Championship (2019 and 2021). Her team should have strong support from the home-province crowd, with friends and family also on hand.
TEAM FUJISAWA
Lineup: Satsuki Fujisawa, Chinami Yoshida, Yumi Suzuki, Yurika Yoshida (Kitami, JPN)
Fujisawa finished runner-up to Tirinzoni in last month's HearingLife Canadian Open. It was the second career Grand Slam final for Fujisawa, who won the Canadian Open in 2023 to become the first from Japan to claim a major title in the series.
TEAM GIM
Lineup: Eun-ji Gim, Min-ji Kim, Su-ji Kim, Ye-eun Seol, Ye-ji Seol (Uijeongbu, KOR)
Gim got out to an early start to the season by winning the Korean National Curling Championship in June to earn the right to represent South Korea at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games. The team also captured the Autumn Gold Curling Classic and earned bronze at the Pan Continental Curling Championships in October.
TEAM HASSELBORG
Lineup: Anna Hasselborg, Sara McManus, Agnes Knochenhauer, Sofia Scharback (Sundbyberg, SWE)
Hasselborg has won eight Grand Slam of Curling women's titles and became the first in the division to complete a career Grand Slam when she captured the Crown Royal Players' Championship in 2022. The Swedish squad will look to reach the podium for a third straight time at the Winter Olympics after earning gold in 2018 and bronze in 2022.
TEAM HOMAN
Lineup: Rachel Homan, Tracy Fleury, Emma Miskew, Sarah Wilkes (Ottawa, ON)
Homan holds a record 20 Grand Slam of Curling women's titles, including three in a row this season at the AMJ Masters, CO-OP Tour Challenge and KIOTI GSOC Tahoe. The world No. 1 team also won the Montana's Canadian Curling Trials in November and will represent Canada at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games.
TEAM KITAZAWA
Lineup: Ikue Kitazawa, Seina Nakajima, Minori Suzuki, Hasumi Ishigooka (Nagano, JPN)
The team posted a perfect 7-0 record to capture the inaugural AMJ Masters Tier 2 title in September. Kitazawa was born in Karuizawa, which hosted curling during the 1998 Winter Olympics when the sport returned as a full medal event.
TEAM PETERSON
Lineup: Tabitha Peterson, Cory Thiesse, Tara Peterson, Taylor Anderson-Heide (Chaska, MN)
Peterson, who is making her top-tier Grand Slam season debut at the Crown Royal Players' Championship, will represent the United States in a third consecutive Winter Olympics and second straight as a skip. It'll be double duty for Thiesse, who will also compete in mixed doubles with Korey Dropkin.
TEAM X. SCHWALLER
Lineup: Xenia Schwaller, Selina Gafner, Fabienne Rieder, Selina Rychiger (Zurich, SUI)
Schwaller has reached new career highs in the Grand Slam of Curling this season by reaching the semifinals in the CO-OP Tour Challenge and KIOTI GSOC Tahoe events. The 2024 world junior champions also won two titles on tour, taking the Oslo Cup and AMJ Shorty Jenkins Classic.
TEAM TABATA
Lineup: Miku Nihira, Momoha Tabata, Sae Yamamoto, Mikoto Nakajima (Sapporo, JPN)
Nihira skipped the squad to their first Grand Slam of Curling semifinal appearance last month at the HearingLife Canadian Open. The team has reached five finals on tour this season.
TEAM TIRINZONI
Lineup: Silvana Tirinzoni, Alina Pätz, Carole Howald, Selina Witschonke (Aarau, SUI)
The Swiss squad has made all four Grand Slam of Curling women's finals this season, capturing the HearingLife Canadian Open last month in Saskatoon. Tirinzoni is the two-time defending Crown Royal Players' Championship winner and is looking to become the first skip to win three straight in the event.
TEAM WRANÅ
Lineup: Isabella Wranå, Almida de Val, Maria Larsson, Linda Stenlund (Sundbyberg, SWE)
Wranå has reached the final twice at the Crown Royal Players' Championship, winning her first Grand Slam title at the event in 2023 and finishing runner-up to Tirinzoni the following year. She will compete in mixed doubles at the Winter Olympics with her brother, Rasmus Wranå, who throws second stones for Team Edin.
TEAM YOSHIMURA
Lineup: Sayaka Yoshimura, Kaho Onodera, Yuna Kotani, Anna Ohmiya (Sapporo, JPN)
Yoshimura won the Japanese Olympic Team Trials and booked a ticket to Milano Cortina after emerging victorious at the Olympic Qualification Event. The team was one of three Japanese clubs to reach the semifinals of the HearingLife Canadian Open last month.
