Jocelyn Peterman and Brett Gallant have redemption in mind for 2030.
The Canadian married couple confirmed on social media Monday that they'll be going for another Olympic cycle in mixed doubles after just missing the playoffs earlier this year in Milano Cortina.
"We're proud of what we've built, and we're not done yet," they said in the post. "We want to keep competing together, doing what we love and give ourselves a shot at redemption in France 2030."
After getting out to a great start in Milano Cortina — winning three straight games over Czechia, Norway and Italy — Peterman and Gallant fell into a slump, losing five in a row and were eliminated from playoff contention.
They wrapped up the round robin with a victory over Switzerland to finish fifth overall with a 4-5 record.
Gallant then became the first Canadian curler to compete in two disciplines in a single Olympic Winter Games, capturing the gold medal on Brad Jacobs' team in the men's tournament.
It was the second consecutive Winter Olympics for both Peterman and Gallant, but their first in mixed doubles. Gallant won bronze on Brad Gushue's team at Beijing 2022, while Peterman finished fifth in the women's tournament playing with iconic skip Jennifer Jones.
Peterman and Gallant have also represented Canada three times at the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship, earning silver in 2019.
