MEN'S FINAL LIVE BLOG

FIRST END (12:08 p.m. PT): Mouat won the last stone draw shot challenge to secure the hammer to start. That proved pivotal as Mouat converted for a deuce. Both skips made a mockery of a tiny port, with Mouat making it through a second time to hit and stick for two. MOUAT 2, DUNSTONE 0

SECOND END (12:25 p.m. PT): Mouat couldn't clear the double, allowing Dunstone to hit the exposed shot rock, with some great brushing from E.J. and Ryan Harnden, plus Colton Lott behind the tee line, to tie it up. MOUAT 2, DUNSTONE 2

THIRD END (12:41 p.m. PT): A rare misfire from Mouat, as he tapped Dunstone's rock back, but it caught Mouat's other stone at the back of the house to hang on for the second shot. MOUAT 3, DUNSTONE 2

FOURTH END (12:58 p.m. PT): Facing two Mouat rocks, Dunstone was forced to draw into the four-foot circle for a tying single point. MOUAT 3, DUNSTONE 3

FIFTH END (1:13 p.m. PT): An even rarer whiff from Mouat. Looking to peel and blank, Mouat's shooter just kissed Dunstone's rock at the back of the house to give up a steal and the lead. DUNSTONE 4, MOUAT 3

SIXTH END (1:35 p.m. PT): Mouat hit off and in to remove Dunstone's shot rock, but couldn't move the second one far enough to score more than a single. DUNSTONE 4, MOUAT 4

SEVENTH END (1:50 p.m. PT): Dunstone dislodged Mouat's shot rock to score two points and retake the lead. DUNSTONE 6, MOUAT 4

EIGHTH END (1:53 p.m. PT): Dunstone's miss on his last opened the door for Mouat to score two and force a shootout. DUNSTONE 6, MOUAT 6

SHOOTOUT (2:12 p.m. PT): A game of millimetres! Dunstone drew to the button, 9.8 cm away from the pinhole, but Mouat was slightly closer at 9.5 cm to win. MOUAT 7, DUNSTONE 6
