Tuesday's featured games
Scotland's Bruce Mouat will play in his first Grand Slam game with new third Robin Brydone when they take on Marco Hösli's Swiss squad (3 p.m. ET / Noon PT). With Mouat's longtime third Grant Hardie moving on to play with Ross Whyte, Brydone headed in the opposite direction. Hösli earned the 16th and final men's division ticket to Victoria, qualifying through the Satellite Event series after winning the Prestige Hotels and Resorts Curling Classic.
Meanwhile, Hardie and his new team will take on Kevin Koe's Calgary crew (6:30 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. PT). Koe also has a new player throwing third stones. Johnson Tao replaced Tyler Tardi, who left to skip his own squad. Tao is a former skip himself and finished runner-up to Koe in provincial playdowns.
An all-Canadian clash highlights the evening draw as Ottawa's Team Rachel Homan faces Victoria's own Team Kayla MacMillan (10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT). It'll be the first tour game of the season for Homan, who has won a record 20 Grand Slams. It'll be MacMillan's first top-tier game in the series as a skip.
