Stefania Constantini's team has broken up.

The Italian club of Constantini, Elena Mathis, Marta Lo Deserto, Giulia Zardini Lacedelli, and Angela Romei announced Sunday on social media that it is "time for a new chapter" with the members heading their separate ways.

Team Constantini competed in 12 Grand Slam of Curling tournaments during the past quadrennial and qualified for the playoffs five times.

Their best season came in 2023-24, earning the silver medal at the European Curling Championships and finishing fourth at the World Women's Curling Championship.

The team represented Italy on home ice this year at the Olympic Winter Games in Milano Cortina, however, Romei was replaced as the alternate in favour of Rebecca Mariani when the national team lineup was announced. They finished in second-last place with a 2-7 record.

Constantini also competed in the Olympic mixed doubles tournament and dedicated her bronze-medal victory to Romei.

The team ended the season with an eighth-place result (5-7 record) at the World Women's Curling Championship in March.
