Thursday's featured games

Canada's Team Matt Dunstone and Team Danny Casper of the United States meet in Draw 10 (2:30 p.m. ET / 11:30 a.m. PT).

Casper (2-0-0-0, six points) could clinch a playoff berth for the first time in a Grand Slam, and he's pumped his game will air on ESPNU.

"It's really exciting to be on TV there. A lot of my friends are going to be able to watch a lot easier," Casper said. "Dunstone's a great team. We've played them a bunch of times now over the last few years and always have some good battles.

"He's obviously been winning a lot for a few years now, so it's been really cool to just compete against him, learn a lot and try to take everything in while also trying to win, obviously. It's going to be fun."

Dunstone (1-0-0-1, three points) will look to maintain the momentum from his first win Wednesday over Team Tsuyoshi Yamaguchi.

Just don't expect him to follow suit if Casper's crew decide to rip off their jersey sleeves again.

"I won't be taking the sleeves off my shirt for that one, but I'm sure we'll be able to put on a good show with that Casper team," Dunstone said. "They're a good squad."

Switzerland's top two women's teams go head-to-head in Draw 11 (6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT). Team Xenia Schwaller and Team Alina Pätz have already faced off four times this season, with Pätz winning all four, including three finals.

"If you want to win against them, you always have to play well, right?" Pätz said. "That's what we try to do. We just try to work on those small little details we're working on, and if we do that right, I think we have a good chance."

For Schwaller, it'll be just another game.

"I try to view that game as any other, no matter if they're from our country or not, but I'm excited because usually it's a really good game against them, good curling," Schwaller said.

Both teams hold 1-0-0-1 records with three points apiece.

It's an all-Canadian clash between Team Kerri Einarson of Gimli, Manitoba, and Victoria's Team Kayla MacMillan in Draw 12 (10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT). Val Sweeting, who spent the past eight seasons with Einarson, now throws third and handles skip duties for MacMillan.

Einarson sits at 1-0-0-1 with three points. MacMillan (0-1-0-1) has two points, thanks to a shootout win on opening night Tuesday against Team Rachel Homan.
