Early bird tickets now on sale for all five GSOC 2026 events
GSOC is partnering with established tour events to create more qualification opportunities
TORONTO (March 10, 2026) The Grand Slam of Curling (GSOC) today announced the five Canadian host communities that will welcome the world’s top curling teams for the 2026 season. The five-stop tour spans coast to coast, with early bird tickets on sale now for all events.
2026 Grand Slam of Curling Schedule:
• GSOC Invitational — Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, Victoria, BC (Oct. 13-18)
• GSOC Masters — Co-op Place, Medicine Hat, AB (Nov. 3-8)
• GSOC National — Centre 200, Sydney, NS (Nov. 17-22)
• GSOC Open — Fort William Gardens, Thunder Bay, ON (Dec. 1-6)
• GSOC Players’ Cup — Slush Puppie Place, Kingston, ON (Dec. 15-20)
Building on the success of previous seasons, GSOC will again host complementary invitational events alongside select GSOC events: the U21 Jr. GSOC (Medicine Hat) and the GSOC Wheelchair Invitational (Kingston). Each event will run concurrently with the Slam, with championship finals contested on official Slam ice, providing a premier stage for athletes across divisions. Additional details for these events, including qualification and invitational processes, will be announced in the coming months.
New in 2026: GSOC Satellite Event partnerships
The GSOC is partnering with established curling tour events worldwide to provide teams with more avenues to earn their way into GSOC events via additional qualification pathways. The partnership with these Satellite Events will replace the former GSOC Tier 2 events.
Under the new structure, each Satellite event champion will receive an automatic berth into one of the first four Grand Slam of Curling events of the season. If a Satellite winner has already secured entry through another qualification path, the automatic berth will be awarded to the runner-up or the highest placed semi-finalist at the event. Should all semi-finalists and finalists be pre-qualified, we will extend the invite to the highest placing quarter-finalist in the event that has a world ranking of 32 or greater.
Points earned through designated Satellite Events and GSOC events throughout the season will be used to determine the final ranking ahead of the GSOC Players’ Cup. The season finale will feature the top 12 men’s and 12 women’s teams based solely on their performance in GSOC events and Satellite Events.
