Eight-time Grand Slam title winner Val Sweeting has landed with Kayla MacMillan's team.
The Victoria-based club made the announcement Sunday on social media.
Sweeting joins MacMillian after playing eight seasons at third on Kerri Einarson's team out of Gimli, Man.
She captured her fifth Scotties Tournament of Hearts title with Einarson in February and earned silver at the World Women's Curling Championship last month. Sweeting also won back-to-back bronze medals at the women's worlds with Einarson in 2022 and 2023.
The 38-year-old from Lottie Lake, Alta., won three Grand Slam of Curling titles as a skip and added five more during her time with Einarson.
MacMillan, who is also flanked by second Lindsay Dubue and lead Lauren Lenentine, parted ways with third Brittany Tran and alternate Sarah Loken last week.
Einarson's retooled roster will see Shannon Birchard move up to third and Karlee Burgess to second, with Jocelyn Peterman coming on board at lead and handling vice skip duties.
