Mike McEwen is staying in Saskatchewan.

The Winnipeg-based skip announced Wednesday on social media that he’s joining up with Saskatoon’s Rylan Kleiter, Joshua Mattern and Trevor Johnson for next season.

Kleiter, who skipped previously, will move to third with Mattern at second and Johnson at lead.

McEwen spent the past three seasons with the Saskatoon-based trio of Colton Flasch, Kevin Marsh and Daniel Marsh. The team earned the silver medal at the Brier in their first year together in 2024. They also finished third at the Canadian Olympic curling trials this past November.

The world No. 14 team opted to continue without McEwen and added Tyler Tardi at skip.

McEwen has also captured seven Grand Slam of Curling titles during his career.

Kleiter, who is No. 30 in the world rankings, won the Tour Challenge Tier 2 title in 2024 and competed in four Grand Slam events this season.
