Two curlers will be among those carrying the flags at the Opening Ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games Milano Cortina 2026.

Italy’s Amos Mosaner and Denmark’s Denise Dupont will help lead the way for their countries during Friday’s festivities.

Mosaner captured gold in mixed doubles curling with Stefania Constantini at Beijing 2022. It was Italy's first-ever medal in Olympic curling.

Not only is Mosaner looking to defend the gold, but he will also play in the men’s tournament, throwing third stones for skip Joel Retornaz.

Dupont will compete in the women’s tournament, throwing lead stones for her sister, Madeleine Dupont.

It’s the third Winter Olympics for Mosaner, and the fifth for Dupont.

The mixed doubles tournament began Wednesday, two days before the Opening Ceremony, with the men’s tournament starting Feb. 11 and the women’s tournament starting Feb. 12.
