TEAM BIO

When skip Kristy McDonald stepped back from competitive curling in 2016, the trio of third Kate Cameron, second Leslie Wilson-Westcott and lead Raunora Westcott decided to stick together and added Michelle Englot from Saskatchewan.

It didn’t take long for Englot to gel with her new squad reaching the final in their first Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling event together at the 2016 Tour Challenge (Tier 1) in Cranbrook, B.C.

Team Englot defeated Team Robertson in the provincial final to represent Manitoba at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts. For Englot it was her eighth trip to the Canadian women’s curling championship as a skip and first wearing Manitoba colours.

Englot made it to her first career Scotties Tournament of Hearts final in 2017 but had to settle for silver after losing to Ontario’s Team Homan in an extra end.
