Team Bio

Krista McCarville had a comeback year on tour last season. McCarville took a couple years off from competitive curling and returned this season to great success.

Her team won four consecutive World Curling Tour events taking the Colonial Square Ladies Classic, Molson Cash Spiel, Curl Mesabi Classic and U.S. Open of Curling titles. The Colonial Square Ladies Classic victory earned them a spot in the inaugural Humpty’s Champions Cup.

McCarville also posted a perfect 7-0 record at playdowns to represent Northern Ontario at the 2016 Scotties Tournament of Hearts. She has made four previous appearances at the national event for Ontario, prior to Northern Ontario receiving its own berth.

The team earned the silver medal at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts falling to Chelsea Carey’s Team Alberta in the final.
