Team Bio

Jamie Sinclair is a dual American-Canadian citizen. She played lead for Rachel Homan’s team winning the Ontario bantam provincial championship and Ontario Winter Games in 2006. The team represented Ontario at the 2007 Canada Winter Games and captured the gold medal. Sinclair moved onto skipping her own squad and claimed another bantam provincial title in 2009 plus back-to-back Ontario junior provincial championships in 2012 and 2013. She attended Carleton University and skipped the Ravens to their first Canadian university curling championship in 2014.

Sinclair joined the U.S. High Performance Program in 2014, playing third for Nina Roth, and made her Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling series debut that year at the Meridian Canadian Open. She skipped her own team the following season (2015-16) and competed in the inaugural Tour Challenge Tier 2 event reaching the semifinals.

Another lineup shuffle took place for the 2016-17 season with third Alexandra Carlson, second Vicky Persinger and lead Monica Walker joining Team Sinclair. They captured the U.S. national title in 2017 and 2018. The foursome claimed the 2018 Players’ Championship and made history by becoming the first-ever U.S. based team to capture a Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling title.

Carlson earned back-to-back U.S. junior titles as a skip in 2009 and 2010. She won her first U.S. national title in 2015 playing third for Erika Brown.

Walker represented the U.S. at the 2015 world championship playing third for Aileen Sormunen.

Twin sisters Sarah and Taylor Anderson joined Team Sinclair in 2018.
