TEAM BIO

Anna Sidorova has represented Russia at the past two Winter Olympics and skipped the team at the 2014 Sochi Games on home ice. Her team will play for Russia once again at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Team Sidorova earned Russia its first-ever medal at the World Women’s Curling Championship by claiming bronze in 2014. They captured bronze at the worlds again in 2015 and 2016 and set a new career-high taking silver in 2017.

Sidorova had a breakout tournament in the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling series at the 2015 Players’ Championship. After a 1-2 start, Sidorova won five consecutive games to reach her first Grand Slam final. Her run ended just short of the championship though with Team Muirhead capturing the title.
