Pinty’s GSOC to sponsor NASCAR truck for Canadian race

The Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling is switching gears this weekend from the rink to the racetrack.

The series will be the main sponsor for Red Horse Racing’s No. 11 Toyota Tundra during the Cheverolet Silverado 250 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ont. Not only is the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling logo featured on the hood of the truck, but images of curling stones will also be displayed on the rear quarter panels.

Brett Moffitt will be behind the wheel of the No. 11 Toyota. The 24-year-old from Grimes, Iowa, is coming off of his first career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory this past weekend at Michigan International Speedway. Moffitt took the lead on the final lap of the race and held off teammate Timothy Peters by just .098 seconds to win.

The Cheverolet Silverado 250 is scheduled for Sunday afternoon with TV coverage starting at 2 p.m. ET on Fox Sports Racing in Canada and Fox Sports 1 in the U.S.
